ToXMaN's music...

One man. One vision. No boundaries.

Born in Europe, I came to the US in 1990 as lead guitar player for a rock band. We played New York City rock clubs such as CBGB, LimeLight and ChinaClub. The band broke up in mid 90's and after that I stopped playing or making music for over 12 years until I decided to give it one more try.

I currently work at MTV Networks in New York City. I'm composing original music tracks and scores and I'm also licensing my finished tracks for film, TV, games, advertisement and all other media projects in rock, electronica and classical/orchestral genre.

Joyride

As always, everything was done in FL Studio, with guitar plugged into Digitech GeNetX 2 and from there going digital to SB Audigy ZS Platinum Pro, then mastered in SoundForge.

I had this idea for a couple of months, kind of classic riffs hard rock with not that many leads, only a couple of licks representing future vocal lines or something, I'm not sure yet... 8-). Somebody told me, when heard this in a rough form, that the crunchy riffs sound little bit like AC/DC, but you'll be the judge... 8-) Crank up the volume!!!

This song is now part of the soundtrack for independent USA movie "The Long Island Project".

Magnetic Storm

This is all synth, no guitars here. The idea for this song came to me long time ago, maybe like 7 or 8 years, but I never really went back to it until now. There are no drum loops or any other loops or arpeggiators in use here, everything was played manually and recorded into the sequencer. It could be called just the "Storm", but since one of the lead voices is called "Magnetic Fields", I named it this way... 8-).

If you're interested, here is the story that the song is supposed to tell:

You can feel the water in the air, tiny drops begin to fall and it feels almost like nothing will come out of it... sun is shining. Then, there is a brief breeze and the rain develops a little bit more. It keeps on getting stronger and you can hear the drops bouncing off the ground and windows... sun is still shining. Then, there is a thunder and the rain gets very heavy, but not in a mean way. The rainbow comes out, it's quite beautiful. There is another thunder, the rain almost stops, the wind picks up the speed and brings in clouds very fast, there is no more sun and the rain starts to develop again, but this time it's much faster. The heavy storm comes in quickly tearing down everything, the wind is very powerful... then everything stops and ends almost as quickly and peacefully as it began.

Rickshaw!

He is thin, but not weak. His clothes are dirty and falling apart, but he doesn't mind. His goal is to get to the destination, by using every steel muscle in his body and he will not rest till he gets there. Nothing can get in his way, there are no obstacles he cannot overcome. There is no heat, cold, rain or a storm that will stop him. He will hit bumpy roads and steep hills, suffering great pain along the way. He will fly down the hills, overcome with joy, only to get ready for the next battle.

His endurance is endless. He is a man-machine. He is the Rickshaw!

The White Room

I know this is probably not gonna fly good here, my String Concerto didn't attract much of the interest, but here we go anyway... 8-)

This is less than 2 minutes orchestral movie theme I did for a production company requesting something emotional using only piano and cello. It was a rush job so I came up with this in about 20 minutes and I didn't play much with the sample selection, so the cello sounds little bit more rich than just a cello, but it did the job... 8-)
